Mr. Novak has been a trusted M&A, capital raise, and strategic advisor to private and public companies, family offices, and funds for over 20 years, focused on software, hardware, communication technology, industrial technology, advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity, and tech-enabled services.

Chris is an experienced deal-maker and has successfully completed hundreds of M&A, capital raise, and other advisory engagement clients throughout the U.S. and overseas.

Chris began his career as a consultant for technology companies with PwC, helping his clients navigate significant strategic and equity / debt capital challenges during the dotcom bust. At Charter Communications, a Fortune 500 media and telecommunications company, in coordination with Vulcan Capital, led FP&A, acquisition, and investment activities for a division with $1 billion in annual revenue. He subsequently joined McGladrey Capital Markets and then BSI, a $3 billion investment fund and advisory firm, where he originated, evaluated, and closed investment transactions in technology. He has served as CFO for several high-growth technology companies. Throughout his career he has applied careful, fact-based analysis and used his deep relationships with venture capital firms, private equity firms and large corporations to help his clients maximize their value.

Chris is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has served on the boards of numerous companies. He is a frequent lecturer and leads seminars on M&A, strategy, valuation, and due diligence.
